Do you feel that the current situation and its effect on your daily life are making it difficult for you to think about anything else? Perhaps you notice that your body feels tight or tense, or that it’s hard to sleep at night, as it feels so difficult to switch off?
Do you have a new or ongoing health problem that you can’t stop thinking about, that is perhaps causing you to feel more worried or vulnerable?
I offer an empathic, non-judgemental, confidential and safe space for you to talk freely about the things that are troubling you, working together at your pace, to help support you in coping better day today, and perhaps building up coping strategies for the future if this is appropriate for you, thereby enabling you to feel more resilient, more relaxed, and feel that you are able to smile again.
As well as health-related issues, I work with many other concerns, in particular anxiety. I work integratively, (bringing in different theories, such as person-centred, CBT, mindfulness) through training and experience, enabling a more flexible, immediate response to clients' concerns.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and fully adhere to their Ethical Framework, ensuring that I offer a professional service to clients, fully respecting client autonomy.
